Getting a personal advisor has been invaluable for startups Fresheet, Greenwitch and Nature Preserve in the Growing Food accelerator programme. Read more and don't forget: Application deadline is in just over a week (22 October).
Mentoring is a core element in Growing Food CPH. For participants Fresheet, Greenwitch and Nature Preserve it meant accessing business knowledge, tapping into an extensive network, decision making abilities, better market understanding and more.
Fresheet: Advisor initiative was instrumental
“Our Advisor Michael Ingemann helped us shed light on the market dynamics between restaurants and their food producers (our customers). Moreover, being able to tap into Michael’s extensive knowledge from his consulting and business administration background was invaluable for us during the early stage of our product development. Our conversations with Michael gave us access to knowledge, network and decision-making abilities that enabled us to progress faster during customer development and market validation. It has been fantastic! For our team, the mentor programme was the most valuable aspect of joining the Growing Food programme,” says Søren Fuhr, Founder of Fresheet.
Greenwitch: Valuable mentoring

Nature Preserve: Better product understanding
“Our Advisor Martin Bregnballe has provided us with an excellent understanding of the Scandinavian food market, he has helped us to develop a business plan and he has connected us with the right experts to improve our final product.
